Problem Note 62574: Email notifications are not sent, and you see "Invalid/incomplete notification" if you use a process definition that has sub-groups and sub-tasks

In SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench, if you use a process definition that has sub-groups and sub-tasks, email notifications are not sent.
When this issue occurs, in the UI, a pop-up message states "Invalid/incomplete notification; notification not sent." An error that is similar to the following occurs in the mid-tier log:
ERROR com.sas.stress.rest.services.NotificationService - Failure while processing active notification rules
java.lang.IllegalStateException: nodeMap contains no 'task-ID' task node for projectId=project-number
